bellaI was having various health issues I did some research and decided to give Bikram Yoga a try. The first class that I attended was taught by Tighe. I have always tried my best to take care of myself and keep in shape. I can remember during that first class I kept glancing at the door planing my escape. During the floor series I thought that my heart was going to jump out of my chest! Tighe came over to make sure I was ok. She gave me a coconut water and reassured me it was all normal. When class was over I knew that this was something I wanted to do, so I signed for the unlimited monthly debit! Bikram has truly helped me through some very rough times, no matter what I was or am going through on any given day, the stress seems to melt away and all is forgotten when I step into the studio. I truly enjoy the practice and thought that becoming an instructor would be very rewarding as well as being fun. I decided to go to teacher training. I love everything about it…the teaching, the practice, the conversations with the other teachers, and most of all the students that come into the studio on a daily basis. I am so grateful to have found BYR, its like having an extended family and somewhere I that I truly fit in.
