I wanted to say how Bikram has changed my body and my mind. I am a healthy active person. I was always into the exercise of the moment running, aerobics, weights until I found Bikram Yoga. Since then (only 2 years and 8 months) I have had great results. I had been on thyroid medicine for hypothyroidism since I was 19. Suddenly at 46 I don't need it.
My Dr. asked me how I raised my bladder- yoga. My posture is better, my curled toes are straighter, and most days my attitude is sweeter.
I am a work in progress but, Bikram and the instructors in the Richmond centers help me reach for more. The friendship and love I feel from my yoga family is an added bonus. Come sweat, it makes us better. Lisa F.
