Bikram has helped me manage the physical, and psychological symptoms that stemmed from my spiritual distress. It is my hope that someone who reads this will give yoga a try, so that they too may reach a greater state of healthiness.
I gasped for air sometimes and even breathed through an open mouth. But I focused on the breath, and it began to heal my soul. My leg healed, too.

Through my yoga practice, I learned that sometimes when things challenge you to your core, it is a sign that you SHOULD pursue them.
Not only do you feel better from exercising and having more oxygen in your body and brain, but also you have literally balanced your hormones, while releasing natural endorphins in to your system. It’s fascinating!
I can drive/sit for longer periods without pain and doing my work (which I love) has become enjoyable again because I am not distracted by pain.

After 30 years of running I have found that Bikram yoga provides a great balance to the stresses that running puts on my body. Through Bikram yoga I am increasing the range of motion of my muscles, healing old running injuries, and my mind is more in tune with my body. I even sleep better!
